Why cant we live as one? In Ohm. JES; Singer, Songwriter, Producer, Artist. DISCONNECT, the debut solo album. One could call it a debut, but in reality it is a logical progression for her. Born and raised in New York City, Jes realized at a young age that singing was her passion. While enrolled in Art School, her truly unique vocal style, and range was discovered, and she quickly progressed to working in professional situations. All the while she continued to write and work in friends studios, always making music. While working at a popular recording studio in LA, JES met Mike Olson, and the two formed Gaurdians of the Earth, which was a hit on the very popular Mp3.com, with songs like Starchildren and One Moon Circling. "Starchildren" was released on Paul VanDyks The Politics Of Dancing series, and through hearing that, Jes began collaborating with more DJ's like D:fuse and Deepsky, producing tracks like "Living The Dream" and "Ghost" and many others. Ultimately this lead to the collaboration with G&D to form Motorcycle, producing the Billboard..1 Dance Hit "As The Rush Comes". Now JES comes full circle, putting a different twist on some of her favorites, while continuing to write new songs to bring you DISCONNECT, her debut solo artist album. By tapping into her Rock roots, and mashing it with the big Dance grooves she is known for we bring you this infectious new style we call Roctronica Check out DISCONNECT, coming soon. Sophie Sugar is a trance DJ from the UK. Her style ranges from progressive through to driving, uplifting trance. Her passion for both the music and mixing it is clear to every crowd and her well structured and emotive sets are fast building her a reputation as one of the UKs serious up and coming DJs within this scene. Sophie was always a music lover - playing the piano for 8 years and getting her first record player at the age of 6. She collected records from then onwards! Throughout her teens, she started going clubbing and realised there was one particular genre of dance music she really loved trance! She had been brought up around classical music which she loved and could hear this element in many of her favourite tracks. After experimenting with mixing on friends decks she realised that she was hooked and in 1999 she began DJing. After a few months she sent a demo to Dolly Mixers at the Escape in Brighton, and was given her first gig. She made a big impression and was asked back on a regular basis, which led to many more gigs around her home area of London and the South East. From 2000 to 2003, Sophie spent each summer in Ibiza, playing to crowds of clubbers each week and developing her own sound. Throughout the winters, she played across the UK and Europe, gradually building up her reputation and also began making her own tracks. In 2003 she was asked to join Rapture Television as their new presenter for 'Ibiza As it Happens'. The 4 part series included interviews with several of the worlds top DJs as well as reports from almost every club on the island and was shown on Sky TV throughout winter 2003/2004. This demonstrated her ability to combine her love of music with her natural talent in front of the camera. Sophie loves presenting and has since continued to tie this in with her DJing career. In 2004 Sophies career escalated rapidly. After winning the prestigious Gallery/DJ Magazine DJ competition, her track Call of Tomorrow was picked up on by widely respected Dutch trance label, Galactive. In 2005, Call of Tomorrow received support from the many of the worlds top DJs including Paul Van Dyk, who featured it in his top 10 in DJ Mag and Mixmag, and Armin Van Buuren who chose to feature it on A State of Trance 2005. Sophie was billed as One to Watch in IDJ magazine. She played for several of the UKs top nights including the Gallery, Passion and Serious and guest presented the Gallery show for Ministry of Sound radio. So far in 2006, her follow-up track, Isis has been released on top UK trance label E-TCR and has received heavy support from Paul Van Dyk (who played it a record 3 weeks in a row on his Radio Fritz show!), Armin Van Buuren, Above and Beyond, Matt Hardwick and many more and has been given rave reviews in the dance music press including 5 out of 5 in DJ Mag. Most recently, Sophie was delighted to be nominated in the Mixmag Future Hero category for the Trance Awards 2006 securing her status as one of the serious players within the UKs up and coming trance scene. In the coming months you can catch Sophie at many of the UKs top trance nights and abroad from China to Morocco!

It all started when I was holidaying in London back in 98 and I simply fell in love with electronic music while visiting the best clubs in town I remember as if it was yesterday, when going clubbing at The End and I couldn..t take my eyes off the dj box. The whole thing just amazed me!!

Back in Brazil and having decided to learn how to dj, Ingrid quits her bureaucratic 9 to 5 job for a pair of pick-ups. She starts her dj course and at the same time starts playing in some parties organized in her hometown Santos where she stands out and consequently calls her manager..s attention (Paulinho Silveira Hypno DJ..s), which was a turning point in her career.

Biography
c!ndY is making her solo debut in this special Valentines event for Sense.FM. In her short music career she has been a constant inspiration to "MD Radio" and even guest mixed with Difer in the "New Years Showcase" on Sense.FM and a couple episodes of "MD Radio". c!ndY plays some of the best electro house of the moment and will make you dance in a unique style.
