BT has said that Morcea Subrosa is \"close to an hour of electro-acoustic music and ambience that while it's approach is academic (Lots of Csound, Kyma, Max/MSP and granular and spectral operations applied gratuitously to world instruments) retains a sense of tonality and purposefulness. It short, it's beautiful music without beats. It's intended purpose is mindful meditation, to listen to before bed or in bed with someone you love.\" The album was released as one nearly 60 minute track, for the most immersive experience possible.
