Regarding my last topic, i should write down a few words for those who get it wrong. First of all, i have an ironic way of speak that sometimes its hard to express through facebook (an example of that is the post where i say "How to support a trance release!" it was a joke and nobody understood that i putted a photo support on it so that's why i wrote "how to support a release" anyway...). Dash Berlin and Gareth Emery are good pop producers, they should play live their songs on festivals but should not be considered trance music, because it's not trance and the ones i called ignorant are the ones who call it trance music, i'm not calling igorants the ones who listen to them because nobody have the right to decide what is good or bad or to force people to like something. Now get back to 2003 and check all the amazing artists that left the scene because of the this issue: C-quence, Global Illumination, Fictivision, Mesh, Sundawner, The Quest, Estuera (now producing only as jonas steur) and so on. The ones that are still here were forced to change style to keep getting support and how many remain true to the style. First we start to listen to a lot of vocal tunes, then they start slowing them down and adding that electro sidechained anoying bass and that square leads with pitch bend, and in the end they start producing real pop. Just because they were producing trance back 2003,2004 they're producing pop right now and why? To get popular and get a lot of money with it. Is it wrong? No it's not wrong, you have your life you can do what you want with it, but do you really have to kill all the amazing artists producing trance music with all your pop? We already have pop music on festivals around the world we don't need pop producers to invade trance radioshows to get promotion just because they're not capable of playing live instruments and perform without playback. A lot of people are afraid to talk because they're afraid of losing the support and the promo they receive for free. So as i said, it's good to understand what is trance and what is not trance before start making flame wars. To explain it better, listen to Armn's words. He plays some comercial music but he's one of the few top 10djs that still plays trance music on his radioshow. Thanks Armin!!
